Nike SB Dunk Low Raygun Tie-Dye

Some of Nike SB's legacy has been highly in demand these past years. However, the brand has been very selective on which one to re-issued and witch one to keep in the SD legacy archive. It’s a very sensitive subject and the line is very thin, between the collector who has been nurturing their collection, to the general public who been craving these for years! Or the re-sellers trying to make big bucks off some retro that everyone is looking for! As we all clearly agree here at Amigos that some shoes are meant live on in memory and in books! Some pearls do deserve some re-edition couples after 5+ years.  Well! This time Nike is letting one of the historical Nike SB make a return. Some say it’s to pay Homage one of the Leaders of the whole SB movement Sandy Bodecker.  Some even joke about that SB stan for Sandy Bodecker.

The original release took place back in 2005, during the golden age of SB's, Nike SB created a yin yang duo of Dunk Low Pro SB’s that tapped into New Mexico mystique. The pack’s alien aesthetic was centered around a fictional ABA team dubbed the Roswell Rayguns and even featured their would-be mascot embroidered on the heel. The first shoe to feature the Nike SB logo on the tongue also came in youth sizes.

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Raygun” re-edition do come with a bit of new feature. Being the revelation of the year! Tie-dye technology is a part of the 2019 edition.

The yellow and orange pattern in the mid-panel & the heel change colors with usage. Revealing a white leather and its the biggest difference f from the 2005 release. Lots of peoples see this re-edition like a touching tribute the late Sandy Bodecker – the founding father of Nike SB who passed away in October of last year.
