Vans is releasing a re-edition of the Geoff Rowley signature Pro model to slimmer-fitting, higher-performing skate shoes. Since 1999, Rowley influence in modern street skating is undeniable. The pioneer is known for pushing the boundary with big technical tricks & a raw go hard or go home style who’s been a true gift for the skateboard culture.
Vans is celebrating Geoff career by releasing a special two colorways Rowley RapidWeld Pro LTD. Both will be available on September 21 exclusively in Spain at Amigos Skate Shop.
The new model features the original DNA of the first Rowley Vans model but combining the latest technology and innovation to provide a high-performance shoe. The shoe improved features for grip, comfort, and durability.
RapidWeld, one of Vans Latest tech, take out the bulkiness of the shoes with a welding technique that only uses heat-fused film between panels and replacing the traditional stitching. Making a slim, durable, flexible and light performance shoe. The slimmer shoe features a slimmer tongue, a refined ankle padding, the WaffleCup construction for durability, conform, flick and board feel. All this but providing support and protection.
The Rowley Pro LTD also has a tradition woven tag with Geoff’s that is on the original shoe. A tone on tone contrast in both colorways, a tuff suede and mesh upper mix of material with a heel embossed “66/99”. With is a reference to the year of the beginning of Vans in 1966 and the signing of Rowley in 1999.
